Analysis of the influence of parameters when charging and discharging a capacitor using differential equations
Matic Krašovic, Peter Virtič, 2022, original scientific article

Abstract: Two different electrical circuits were analysed in this paper. The first was an RC circuit consisting of a resistor R, a capacitor C, and a DC voltage u, while the second was an RLC circuit consisting of a resistor R, a capacitor C, a DC voltage u and an inductor L. Both circuits were described using the state space mathematical model and, on this basis, graphs for charging and discharging a capacitor were plotted. Both circuits were described using differential equations for electrical current through a capacitor and voltage over a capacitor. Finally, different values of the R (resistance), L (inductance) and C (capacitance) parameters were taken, and graphs were plotted for voltage over capacitor. The purpose of the study was to explore how different values of parameters influence capacitor charging and discharging.

Nonlinear control of a one-dimensional self-balancing system with an inertia wheel
Marko Boršić, 2019, master's thesis

Abstract: The master’s thesis describes the development of a one-dimensional self-balancing system with an inertia wheel. The plan was to establish all the theoretical knowledge that was gathered throughout the process of studying at the University and to finish the practical model which has the ability to balance in one dimension. The paper contains a description of constructing the mechanical part of the pendulum, developed in SolidWorks software. It also contains the execution of the mathematical model of the inverted pendulum. The simulation was conducted in Matlab/Simulink software. Based on the results of the simulation, the design of the controller for the EC motor was made. Designed controllers and measured data required for the active balance of the system were implemented on the microcontroller STM32F4. To measure the angle and angle velocity, the gyroscope and accelerometer on the MPU6050 sensor were used. The results of the simulation and of the practical model are presented in this paper.

Restraints and opportunities of the Romanian rural areas
Vasile Surd, 2010, review article

Abstract: Although Romania disposes of an extremely valuable agricultural land, it has proved to be insufficient and irrationally exploited in the last two decades, as a direct consequence of the programme for returning the agricultural areas to the former individual landowners. The lack of technological agricultural means for cultivating the land, its excessive allotment, as well as the rather inappropriate involvement of the political factor in the decision making process and the invasion of imported agricultural products have generated a continuous process of degradation of the rural life as a whole and certain repercussions on the food safety. Currently, more than 50% of the Romanian agricultural area is not being cultivated, while the state imports more than 70% of alimentary products every year.
