Abstract: The paper presents types of refrigerants with their characteristics for use insingle-stage high-temperature heat pump. A mathematical model is designed; based on the use of the modeling language GAMS a simulation of optimum mixtureproportions of two refrigerants was made, which allows for the heat pump to operate the most efficient. Software package Math Cad Professional wasused to make calculations of the characteristic properties of the heat pump. Keywords: heat transfer, single-stage high temperature pump, refrigerant, simulation of effectPublished in DKUM: 10.07.2015; Views: 1306; Downloads: 43 Link to full text
Abstract: A new non-destructive method was developed for the detection of refrigerant leakage at an evaporator`s inflow. Nitrogen and oxygen gas were successively blown through the evaporator. A gas analyser was applied at the outflow of the evaporator and the oxygen concentration measured. It was possible to detect any leakage by investigating the oxygen concentration-time history diagram. Keywords: refrigeration, refrigerant leakage, plate evaporator, measurements, non-destructive methodPublished in DKUM: 31.05.2012; Views: 1892; Downloads: 90 Link to full text
