Analiza logističnih procesov v oddelku interne logistike podjetja sij metal ravne, d.o.o.

Abstract: Interna logistika v podjetjih predstavlja zelo pomembno funkcijo, tako je tudi v podjetju SIJ Metal Ravne, d. o. o. Pri napakah in težavah pri delovanju oddelka bi zaradi nedostavljenih materialov, potrebnih za proizvodnjo, lahko trpelo celotno podjetje. V diplomskem delu bomo analizirali oddelek interne logistike podjetja SIJ Metal Ravne, d. o. o., in vse v njem potekajoče logistične procese, definirali pa bomo tudi odprto problematiko, ki je plod teh procesov, in na podlagi realnih finančnih in operativnih zmožnosti predlagali rešitve. Gre za procese, kjer je stalna težnja po izboljšavah še toliko pomembnejša. Logistične procese bomo razdelili po segmentih, kot so notranji promet (znotraj območja Železarne Ravne), zunanji promet (zunaj območja Železarne Ravne), paletna vozila in upravljanje industrijskega tira. Problematika sega vse od vsakdanjih operativnih težav pa do problemov, ki se lahko rešujejo na strateškem nivoju. Med drugimi so to odsotnost odgovornosti naročnikov, zastarelost vozil in infrastrukture ter nevarno oziroma nepravilno nakladanje in razkladanje tovora.

Prenova notranjega transporta v podjetju sij metal ravne d.o.o.

Abstract: V diplomskem delu smo predstavili podjetje SIJ Metal Ravne, d. o. o. V podjetju smo se osredotočili na delo v oddelku interne logistike. V delu smo predstavili obstoječe stanje v interni logistiki, največje probleme v trenutnem sistemu in predlagali določene rešitve. V prvem delu smo predstavili teoretične osnove in obstoječe stanje v podjetju, v nadaljevanju pa naredili kritično analizo opisanega stanja. V drugem delu dela smo za ugotovljen problem predstavili možne rešitve, na koncu pa povzeli vse ugotovitve, do katerih smo prišli, med pisanjem diplomskega dela. Ocenili in ovrednotili smo uspešnost rešitve samega problema, podali tudi pogoje, ki so potrebni, za uveljavitev rešitve. V zadnjem poglavju smo navedli možnosti za nadaljnji razvoj. Predstavili smo tudi načrt uvedbe, enega izmed sistemov, ter opisali težave pri pridobivanju podatkov za izračun povrnitve stroškov.

Validation of electroanalytical method with antimony electrode for trace metal analysis

Abstract: The purpose of this thesis is to validate the electroanalytical method with an antimony electrode for trace metal analysis. The validation began with the determination of the limit of detection (LOD) and the limit of quantification (LOQ), proceeded with determining the method’s linearity and concluded with determination of accuracy and precision. The trace metal analysis was conducted via square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to test the reversibility of the [Fe(CN)6] 3/[Fe(CN)6] 4 system. All the analyses were conducted in a 0.01 M HCl solution. The LOD and LOQ were not possible to report with certainty, since the method has such a low LOD that the contamination with heavy metals, even in ultrapure acid, was too high. The method had a linear response at deposition potentials of 1.2 V, 1.1 V and 1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl for Pb(II) and Cd(II) from 14.6 µg L 1 to 100.0 µg L 1. It has further been proven that the method is accurate and precise for all three deposition potentials at 15 µg L 1, 25 µg L 1, 30 µg L 1, 40 µg L 1 concentrations of analytes. The results have shown that the method is best used at a deposition potential of 1.1 V vs. Ag/AgCl.

Synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties of a new hydroxylammonium fluoroferrate

Abstract: This paper reports on the synthesis of a new hydroxylammonium fluoroferrate, with the formula $(NH_3OH)_3FeF_6$, obtained after dissolving iron powder in hydrofluoric acid and adding solid $NH_3OHF$. This new compound has been characterized by chemical and thermal analysis, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and magnetic measurements. The title compound crystallizes trigonal, R3c, with cell parameters a = 11.4154(2) Å, c = 11.5720(2) Å, Z = 6. The structure consists of $NH_3OH^+$ cations and isolated $FeF_6^{3–}$ octahedra in which the central ion lies on a threefold axis. The oxygen and nitrogen atoms of the hydroxylammonium cations are donors of hydrogen bonds to fluoride anions, resulting in a network of hydrogen bonds between counterions. The effective magnetic moment $µ_{eff}$ = 5.8 BM was calculated and perfectly matches the expected value of high-spin Fe(III) ions. The thermal decomposition of the compound was studied by TG, DSC, and X-ray powder diffraction.

The influence of simulated thermal cycle on the formation of microstructures of multi-pass weld metal

Abstract: The influence of weld thermal cycle on the micrstructural changes in weld metal by use of the simulated microstructures. We examined the kinetics of the formation of austenite from the starting microstructure. The simulated microstructures were prepared by the application of simulated thermal cycles with different peak temperatures on a sample of real single-pass weld metal. The reproduction of thermal cycles were carried out by the SMITWELD simulator. Special attention was dedicated to the influence of thermal cycle on the formation of microstructures, which can be potential triggers of brittle fracture (local brittle zones).

Fatigue crack growth and fracture mechanics analysis of a working roll surface layer material

Abstract: Fatigue crack growth and fracture mechanics analysis of a working roll surface layer material is presented in this paper. The research is done on a hot strip mill working roll where High Chromium Steel is used for roll’s shell material. To obtain corresponding parameters, a rectangular single edge notched bend specimens – SENB, according to standard BS 7448, were used. The fatigue crack growth analysis was done on a resonant testing machine with use of special crack gauges, while for fracture mechanics parameters the electro–mechanical testing machine was used.

Advanced procedure for fabrication of substructure in dentistry

Abstract: The paper presents some aspects of the novel integrated system, procedure for fabrication of metal substructure of metal-ceramic crowns. The results been shown that the CAD/CAE/RP technology integration presented in this paper can be fully applied to casting metal substructures. The substructure fabricated in this way, confirm the reduction of the total manufacturing time, with an increase in the percentage of high quality castings that use integrated system.

Behavior of metallic foam under shock wave loading

Abstract: In this manuscript, the behavior of metallic foam under impact loading and shock wave propagation has been observed. The goal of this research was to investigate the material and structural properties of submerged open-cell aluminum foam under impact loading conditions with particular interest in shock wave propagation and its effects on cellular material deformation. For this purpose experimental tests and dynamic computational simulations of aluminum foam specimens inside a water tank subjected to explosive charge have been performed. Comparison of the results shows a good correlation between the experimental and simulation results.
