On new approach to rheological modeling of an electrostatic ash and water - quadratic law

Abstract: In the paper a new rheological model for an electrostatic ash and water mixture is proposed. The fundamental equation of the rheological model was used to determine the relationship between the shear stress and the shear rate as well as the equation of a velocity profile for the flow through a straight pipe. Experimental results obtained from a capillary viscometer were used as the basis to determine the parameters for the proposed model by the non-linear regression analysis. With the Quadratic law a numerical analysis of a mixture flow through a capillary pipe with the finite volume method was performed. The derived equations for the velocity profile, shear stress and shear rate were validated through a comparison of numerically obtained and theoretical results. Finally, the compariosn between the Quadratic and the Power law is presented.

OPTIMALNO NAČRTOVANJE KONFIGURACIJE IN ANALIZA PRETOČNO – TLAČNIH RAZMER VROČEVODNEGA OMREŽJA MESTA TRBOVLJE V PRIMERU PRIKLJUČITVE VIRA TET

Abstract: Termoelektrarna Trbovlje (TET) je elektroenergetski objekt, ki trenutno proizvaja samo električno energijo. Z odvzemom določene količine pare na nizko in srednjetlačnem delu parne turbine in s kondenzacijo te pare v dveh zaporedno vezanih kondenzatorjih bi bilo mogoče zagotavljati tudi toplotno energijo. Ta bi se, preko predvidene vročevodne povezave uporabljala za oskrbovanje vročevodnih omrežji mest Trbovlje in Hrastnik. Tlačne izgube v pretočnem sistemu, zlasti tako velikem, so izrednega pomena za končno določitev dimenzij omrežja. Nepravilna določitev dimenzij cevi ima za posledico previsoke ali prenizke padce tlaka, s tem pa tudi povečane obratovalne stroške oziroma motnje pri obratovanju. Da bi pretočno — tlačne izgube v pretočnem sistemu pravilno določili, pospešili reševanje matematičnega modela in z vso zanesljivostjo prišli do rešitve, je podan pristop k reševanju z znano metodo linearne mrežne teorije, ki daje ugodne rezultate, katerih značilnost sta hitra konvergenca in nepotrebnost predpostavljanja začetnih domnevnih tokov. Aplikacija matematičnega modela, katerega rešitev je mogoča z računalniškim programom, je uporabljena v nadaljnjih raziskavah, vezanih na priključitev toplotnega vira TET na vročevodno omrežje daljinskega ogrevanja mesta Trbovlje.
