Abstract: This thesis aims to implement an open-source framework for the automatic alignment and tracking of the KORUZA v2 Pro free-space optical solution. Free-space optical systems are explored and current optical alignment and tracking solutions are analyzed. We use Neural Network-based object detection approaches to complement the essential collection of framework functionality. We train a Neural Network to detect KORUZA v2 Pro units with data gathered from currently deployed links. The out-of-the-box solution for automatic alignment and tracking can be freely modified and extended.

Abstract: V diplomskem delu primerjamo ogrodji za objektno-relacijsko preslikavo Entity Framework in NHibernate. Na začetku smo razložili klasičen način dostopa do podatkovne baze preko ADO.NET komponente, v nadaljevanju še O-RM tehnologijo. Nato je sledila podrobna predstavitev obeh ogrodij. V drugem delu diplomskega dela najprej razložimo in prikažemo glavne funkcionalnosti enega in drugega na praktičnem primeru. V zadnjem delu diplomskega dela pišemo o razlikah med enim in drugim ter njunih prednostih in slabostih/pomanjkljivostih.

Abstract: In our era of globalisation, English is at the top of the languages used in international business. A vast majority of business communication in English is carried out by non-native speakers of English. In a cross-cultural exchange of information, the sender and the recipient come from different cultural backgrounds. The patterns of communication vary across the globe and non-native speakers tend to apply their native language patterns when communicating in English. This paper thus focuses on the concept of spoken communication and dimensions of culture and how they are reflected in communication patterns in different business situations. It also addresses the teaching of Business English as a lingua franca and the role of Business English teachers in helping learners develop their communicative and intercultural competence in order to communicate effectively in a multicultural work environment.

Abstract: V magistrski nalogi je predstavljen produkt Emit Cloud, ki temelji na protokolu arhitekture REST. Omenjeni spletni servis je v uporabi podjetja Biokoda, d. o. o., ki ga bo uporabilo kot gonilno komunikacijsko orodje med napravami ter namiznimi aplikacijami in samo spletno aplikacijo Emit Cloud, ki omogoča varno hrambo podatkov v privatnem oblaku. Za rešitev problema bomo uporabili funkcijski programski jezik Erlang in Robot Framework, s katerim bomo pisali teste sprejemljivosti in tako zagotovili konsistentnost z zahtevami podjetja. Servis bo med drugim omogočal brskanje, iskanje, prenašanje in nalaganje datotek, brisanje, omogočanje različnih pogledov s filtri itd.
