Evaluation of the project Pilsen – European capital of culture 2015

Abstract: The paper deals with the evaluation of the project Pilsen – European Capital of Culture 2015. It is based on a few empiric research studies that were implemented after the project was finished. It presents the city of Pilsen and the project of the European Capital of Culture form its initiation to implementation. It deals with the benefits of the project from the point of view of attendance, investment, tourism, and impacts on the economic development. It also brings the evaluation of the project Pilsen - European Capital of Culture 2015 as seen by the city´s residents.

Selected social aspects of the quality of life : a case of the city of Pilsen, Czech republic

Abstract: The article deals with the development of the labour market in the city of Pilsen after 1989, which was significantly influenced by the transformation of the local industry. Apart from the traditional indicators of the labour market, the authors also deal with the proportion of foreign workers. Over the past decade, a dramatic growth of foreigners has been depicted, which was caused by the arrival of foreign investors in Pilsen as these have created a number of job opportunities for less qualified workers. The aim of the contribution is to identify both positive and negative social aspects of life in Pilsen as these are influenced by the development of the situation on the labour market in the city and also to monitor the internal and external factors influencing the development.

Wirtschaftliche Struktur und Entwicklung des Stadt Regions Pilsen und der marginalen Gebiete im Bezirk Pilsen

Abstract: Organisationsstruktur der Wirtschaft hat sich im Bezirk Pilsen geändert. Gibt es hier die Unterschiede in der Fachstruktur und grösse der Struktur. Wichtige Rolle spielen die Auslandsinvestitionen, die entwickeln sich unterschiedlich im Stadt Region Pilsen und in der grenznahe Kreise. Auch die Entwicklung der Arbeitslosigkeit und Bevölkerungsstruktur haben nicht gleiche Graphiken im Zusammenhang mit der Kvalität der Verkehrlage, der Wirtschaftsstruktur und der Vorbereitung für die Auslandsinvestitionen.

Entwicklung der Bevölkerung und Siedlungsstrukturen der Region Pilsen der marginalen Gebiete

Abstract: Dieser Artikel behandelt die Bewohnerentwicklung und Entwicklung der Siedlungsstruktur des Bezirkes Pilsen in der Tschechischen Republik. Es wird sowohl auf die gegenwärtige Situation in Pilsen und seinem Ballungsgebiet als auch auf die Entwicklung in den Kleinstädten und in den peripherischen Gebieten hingewiesen. Der Artikel betrifft die Grundzüge und die Ungleichmässigkeiten der Entwicklung. Es wird auf die negativen Entwicklungstendenzen in den peripherischen Gebieten verwiesen, womit sich die staatlichen und regionalen Institutionen beschäftigen sollten.
