Vpliv sredstva Mineral podjetja AS AN d.o.o. na rast in razvoj pšenice

Abstract: Sredstva za nego in krepitev rastlin imajo širok spekter delovanja, povečujejo odpornost na različne bolezni, krepijo rast in pomagajo ohranjanjati naravno ravnovesje. Podlaga poskusa je tretiranje ozimne pšenice, sorte Soissons ter analiza učinkov vodnega pripravka Mineral v foliarnih aplikacijah v količini 12 ml 5,5m-2 (24 l ha-1). Tretiranje pšenice v triletnem poljskem poskusu se je izvajalo v različnih fazah razvoja, BBCH 05, BBCH 21/23, BBCH 32/33 in BBCH 47/49 na Kmetijsko Univerzitetnem centru v Mariboru. Skupni odmerek pa je v letu 2009 znašal 80 l ha-1. Podatki niso pokazali signifikantnih učinkov Minerala v pridelku (P ≥ 0,05) v primerjavi s kontrolnim obravnavanjem. Na drugi strani pa so imele tretirane rastline intenzivnejšo zeleno obarvanost listov in manjše spremembe v kakovosti rastlin. Prav tako ni bilo zaznati signifikantnih razlik med posameznimi obravnavanji in kontrolo pri morfoloških parametrih (dolžina klasa, število klaskov na klas, teža zrn na klas in število zrn na klas), kljub prisotnosti nekaterih trendov. Aplikacija z Mineralom je v povezavi z okoljsko klimatskimi razmerami pokazala ugodne učinke na razvoj pšenice, pokazal pa se ni signifikantni učinek na pridelek. Rezultati povečanega odmerka Minerala nakuzujejo na predmet nadaljne raziskave.

The impact of mineral composition on compressibility of saturated soils

Abstract: This article analyses the impact of soils` mineral composition on their compressibility. Physical and chemical properties of minerals which influence the quantity of intergrain water in soils and, consequently, the compressibility of soils are established by considering the previous theoretical findings. Test results obtained on artificially prepared samples are used to determine the analytical relationship between the water content and stress state, depending on the mineralogical properties of the soils. A practical applicability of the established interdependence is verified on fiverandomly selected samples of natural soils. The selected approach to the analysis of the influence of soils composition on the water content at different stress states allows for the first time to establish generally validcriteria for determining such relationship.

Vpliv sredstva Mineral podjetja AS AN d.o.o. na rast in razvoj krompirja

Abstract: Na trgu so na voljo sredstva za nego rastlin, ki jih je dovoljeno uporabljati v ekološki pridelavi in naj bi vplivala na rast in pridelek. Z namenom, da bi preverili vpliv sredstva za krepitev in nego rastlin Mineral podjetja AS AN d.o.o. in konkurenčnega sredstva (imenovanega Vzorec II), so bili izvedeni triletni poljski poskusi na ekološki kmetiji Križman v Limbušu, na podlagi katerih smo analizirali vpliv apliciranja izbranih sredstev v letih 2008, 2009 in 2010 na višino pridelka krompirja sorte 'Marabel'. Na posamezno poskusno parcelo, veliko 12 m2, je bilo aplicirano 6 ml sredstva (5 l ha-1). Signifikanten vpliv na pridelek je imelo le leto. Analiza podatkov ni pokazala signifikantnih vplivov Minerala v pridelku (P ≥ 0,05) v primerjavi s kontrolnim obravnavanjem, razen v letu 2008, ko je bil izračunan signifikantni vpliv sredstva na maso gomoljev na posamezno rastlino.. V letu 2009 se je nakazal trend večjega števila debelih gomoljev (frakcije nad 56 mm) na rastlino pri uporabi testiranih sredstev v primerjavi s kontrolo.

Influence of fertirigation with nitrogen on iron, copper and boron content in leaf and cropping of 'Jonagold' and 'Golden Delicious' apple trees

Abstract: Two apple (Malus domestica Borkh) cultivars grafted on M9 rootstock were grown on high density ('Jonagold' 2500 trees/ha, 'Golden Delicious' 3000 trees/ha). There were five treatments for each cultuvar (fertirigation with 45kg N/ha, 60 kg N/ha, 120 kg N/ha, irrigation without fertilisers, and control- without irrigation and without fertilisers), and two timing variants (treatments during vegetation period from 1 May to 20 June - variant A, and treatments from 1 May to 1 August - variant B). The treatments were impossed beginning in the second year after planting and lasted seven years (1992-1998). Concentration of microelements in leaf was determined over the 7th and 8th growing season. During the season 1997/98 effects of the applied treatments on leaf mineral content were notable, but these effects often were not consistent. There were no significant timing effect on leaf nutrient concetration of both cultivars. During the cropping years (1993-1998) there were no consistent treatment effects for cumulative yield and cumulative yield efficiency. The highest cumulative yield achieved 'Jonagold' in the control, while 'Golden Delicious' performed best when it was fertilised with 45 and 60 kg N/ha.__

Multivariate data analysis of natural mineral waters

Abstract: Fifty samples of natural mineral waters from springs in Slovenia, Hungary, Germany, Czech Republic and further countries of former Yugoslavia have been analysed. The mass concentration of cations ($Na^+$, $K^+$, $Ca^{2+}$, $Mg^{2+}$, $Fe^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$, $NH^+_4$) and anions ($F^-$, $Cl^-$, $I^-$, $NO^-_3$, $SO_4^{2-}$, $HCO_3^-$), the spring temperature, pH, conductivity and carbon dioxide mass concentration have been measured using standard analytical methods. Appropriate statistical methods and different chemometric tools were used to evaluate the obtained data, namely, (i) descriptive statistics, (ii) principal component analysis (PCA), (iii) cluster analysis, and (iv) linear discriminant analysis (LDA). It was confirmed that Slovenian natural mineral water samples differ most from the German ones but are relatively similar to the Czech and Hungarian ones. Water samples from Hungary are similar to waters from the eastern part of Slovenia.

Yield performance and agronomic efficiency in oil pumpkins (Cucurbita pepo L. group Pepo) depending on production systems and varieties

Abstract: In 2013 and 2014, a long-term trial (which was established in 2007) was conducted at the University Agricultural Centre in Pivola near Hoče. It included different production systems (conventional, integrated, organic, biodynamic), carried out in a field trial with oil pumpkins. The aim of the research was to analyse the effects of different production systems, varieties (hybrid and population variety) and years of production, on formation of oil pumpkin yields. The agricultural practice has been carried out in accordance with the applicable legislations and standards for the individual production system. When sowing, before fertilizing with nitrogen in early June and after the harvest, the amount of soil mineral nitrogen was monitored. We evaluated the number and weight of harvestable, unripe and decayed fruits, and yield of oil seed pumpkins and calculated the agronomic efficiency of the applied nutrients. The results showed that the year of production, the production system and the variety have a significant effect on some fruit characteristics and the yield of oil pumpkin seeds. The content of soil mineral nitrogen in May and September was significantly influenced by the production system and the year. In June, only the production system had a significant effect. The hybrid significantly increased the yields of oil pumpkin seeds in all production systems, even in the year that was less suitable for production. The agronomic efficiency of the applied nutrients in the biodynamic and organic production system is higher or equal than in the conventional production system, similarly, agronomic efficiency is higher in the hybrid compared to the oldest population variety efficiently. A comparable oil pumpkin yield can be expected in biodynamic and organic production, when proper nutrition and well carried out cultivation practices are combined with a new variety, when compared to less sustainable production systems, which often cause damage to the environment.
