Being the most significant energy-consuming auxiliary load for the electric bus, it must be given special attention in an electric bus system design. To study the heat transfer and thermal optimization for passenger comfort in the electric bus computer-aided design (CAD) is used. The geometry of an electric bus interior is designed considering the main components of the vehicle: passenger cabin, driver’s cabin, windows, walls, and seats. Materials of the same type as those used in the real bus are considered for the geometry model. Based on the heat transfer theory, a thermal model and simulations are made for the heat transfer inside the electric bus. The simulated data are compared with measurement data, and based on these, it can be concluded that the thermal model of the electric bus can be validated and used further for a wide variety of thermal simulation types. 2. Izvedba pametnih inštalacij GIRA za stanovanjske stavbe in njihova primerjava z običajnimi inštalacijami : diplomsko deloDenis Punčoh, 2021, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Pametne inštalacije v stanovanjskih hišah so inštalacije, v katerih posamezni elementi delujejo na električni pogon, so upravljani neposredno ročno ali pa daljinsko preko centralno vodenega sistema. To nam omogoča večji nadzor, večjo udobnost, varnost, možnost oddaljenega nadzora in možnost izvajanja vodenja učinkovite rabe energije.
S sistemom, kot so pametne inštalacije, lahko opravljamo različne funkcije v stanovanjskem ali gospodarskem objektu. Vse te funkcije pa se upravljajo preko pametnih stikal ali z napravami, ki imajo dostop do internetne povezave.
V nadaljevanju te naloge bom pisal o prihodnosti informatizacije (informatizacija = uvajanje informatike) stanovanjskih stavb, analiziral njeno delovanje in vodenje. Podrobneje bom predstavil elemente, ki so potrebni za izvedbo pametne inštalacije in njeno programiranje. Med drugim v nalogi opisujem uporabo njenih elementov, da dosežemo učinkovito rabo energije in možnosti povezovanja v Smart Grids.
Raziskal sem tudi prednosti in slabosti pametnih inštalacij ter cenovne razlike v primerjavi z investicijo v navadne inštalacije. Keywords: El. električne

4. Projekt hišne avtomatizacije pri obnovi dvorca KulmerMatija Hrupački, 2017, master's thesis Abstract: Magistrsko delo predstavlja projekt hišne avtomatizacije pri obnovi dvorca Kulmer. Pripravljen je zagonski elaborat, v katerem so pojasnjeni cilji projekta avtomatizacije, aktivnosti, tveganja, projektna organizacija in potrebna dokumentacija za začetek njegovega izvajanja. Podan je opis komunikacijskih protokolov, ki se uporabljajo pri povezovanju sistemov ogrevanja, hlajenja, prezračevanja, razsvetljave in tehniške zaščite. Experimental investigation review of biodiesel usage in bus diesel engineBreda Kegl, Marko Kegl, 2017, original scientific article Abstract: This paper assembles and analyses extensive experimental research work conducted for several years in relation to biodiesel usage in a MAN bus Diesel engine with M injection system. At first the most important properties of the actually used neat rapeseed biodiesel fuel and its blends with mineral diesel are discussed and compared to that of mineral diesel. Then the injection, fuel spray, and engine characteristics for various considered fuel blends are compared at various ambient conditions, with special emphasis on the influence of low temperature on fueling. Furthermore, for each tested fuel the optimal injection pump timing is determined. The obtained optimal injection pump timings for individual fuels are then used to determine and discuss the most important injection and combustion characteristics, engine performance, as well as the emission, economy, and tribology characteristics of the engine at all modes of emission test cycles test. The results show that for each tested fuel it is possible to find the optimized injection pump timing, which enables acceptable engine characteristics at all modes of the emission test cycles test. GHG emissions reduction based on a heuristic optimization approach : an example of a SBRP problemDejan Dragan, Klemen Prah, Tomaž Kramberger, Maja Fošner, 2013, published scientific conference contribution Abstract: Since the transport causes about 26% of global CO2 emissions, the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) is becoming increasingly necessary. To achieve this objective, several approaches were adopted, like for example the employment of alternative sustainable technologies, or the enforcement of changes in driving skills. In contrast with this kind of approaches, an interesting approach is to reduce the vehicle miles of travel (VMT). In this paper, the concept of VMT reduction based on a heuristic optimization approach is introduced. The suitability of this concept has been tested for the School Bus Routing Problem (SBRP). Working mechanisms of the adopted heuristic optimization algorithms are briefly explained. As can be seen from the results, the optimization of bus stops, bus routes and driving schedules can significantly reduce the amount of VMT and consequently the amount of CO2 emissions. Effects of biodiesel on emissions of a bus diesel engineBreda Kegl, 2008, original scientific article Abstract: This paper discusses the influence of biodiesel on the injection, spray, and engine characteristics with the aim to reduce harmful emissions. The considered engine is a bus diesel engine with injection M system. The injection, fuel spray, and engine characteristics, obtained with biodiesel, are compared to those obtained with mineral diesel (D2) under various operating regimes. The considered fuel is neat biodiesel from rapeseed oil. Its density, viscosity, surface tension, and sound velocity are determined experimentally and compared to those of D2. The obtained results are used to analyze the most important injection, fuel spray, and engine characteristics. The injection characteristics are determined numerically under the operating regimes, corresponding to the 13 mode ESC test. The fuel spray is obtained experimentally under peak torque condition. Engine characteristics are determined experimentally under 13 mode ESC test conditions. The results indicate that, by using biodiesel, harmful emissions (NOx, CO, smoke and HC) can be reduced to some extent by adjusting the injection pump timing properly. Kompleksna naprava je sestavljena iz več krmilnih enot, katere komunicirajo med seboj. Vsaka krmilna enota pa ima vgrajeno bazo pravil, s pomočjo katere lahko razume drugo enoto. Komercialni krmilnik DPCANTE-020B080, podjetja Advanced Motion Controls, ima za krmiljenje linearnega motorja podporo CAN-BUS komunikacije, katero je potrebno povezati z osebnim računalnikom. Sam krmilnik ima že integrirano bazo, katero je potrebno preučiti, ter izdelati bazo podatkov, katere bomo uporabili za komunikacijo našega krmilnika z osebnim računalnikom.
