VODENJE IN NADZOR SISTEMOV Z UPORABO PROGRAMSKEGA OKOLJA LabVIEW

Abstract: V današnjem času se vedno več inženirjev srečuje s programskim okoljem LabVIEW. Z uporabo tega programskega okolja znajo uporabniki običajno rešiti enostavne probleme s področja zajemanja podatkov, pri nadzoru in vodenju sistemov pa se stvari kaj hitro zapletejo. V diplomi so opisani osnovni pojmi odprto- in zaprtozančnega vodenja, ki so osnova za izdelavo programov za vodenje in nadzor sistemov. V nadaljevanju je podrobno opisan proces izdelave programa za meritev stopničnega odziva RLC člena z uporabo učila NI ELVIS II, ki temelji na sinhronizaciji zajemanja in generiranja signalov. Progra,m temelječ na isti osnovi, preizkusimo na preizkuševališču gonil in za krmiljenje pretoka konstantne hidravlične črpalke. V nadaljevanju je bil izdelan še program za zaprtozančno vodenje enosmernega motorja Quanser, ki je reguliran s pomočjo NI ELVIS II. Na koncu se posvetimo še kompleksnemu sistemu nadzora stanja, ki prav tako temelji na programskem okolju LabVIEW.

Napredni koncepti vodenja in nadzora energijsko učinkovitih hidravličnih sistemov

Abstract: Na področju energijske učinkovitosti industrijskih pogonskih sistemov se pojavljajo vedno strožji predpisi in zahteve za zmanjšanje porabe energije in izpustov toplogrednih plinov; pri čemer hidravlični sistemi niso izvzeti. Energijsko učinkovitost hidravličnih sistemov lahko izboljšamo tako, da izboljšamo izkoristek posameznih sestavnih delov hidravličnega pogona, in tudi tako, da izboljšamo koncept vodenja oziroma regulacije takšnega sistema. V smislu slednjega so v doktorski disertaciji predstavljeni trije možni pogonski sklopi, ki temeljijo na volumetričnem principu regulacije hidravlične energije. Zasnovani so matematični modeli vseh komponent pogonskih sklopov, tako da je omogočena statična in dinamična simulacija izkoristka vseh pogonskih sklopov. Rezultati, pridobljeni s simulacijo, so nato preverjeni še na preizkuševališču pogonskih sklopov. Na podlagi rezultatov so zasnovani različni regulacijski koncepti, med drugim tudi nov koncept, ki omogoča sledenje najvišjemu izkoristku hidravličnega sistema. Regulacijski koncepti so med seboj primerjani tako v simulaciji kot tudi praktično na preizkuševališču. Doktorska disertacija se dotakne tudi ionskih tekočin, ki imajo velik potencial, da postanejo hidravlične tekočine prihodnosti. Ker se stisljivost ionskih tekočin razlikuje od stisljivosti hidravličnega olja ter ima velik vpliv na dinamiko in energijsko učinkovitost hidravličnih sistemov, je poudarek predvsem na stisljivosti in merjenju stisljivosti ionskih tekočin. Na koncu disertacije je predstavljen še modul za brezžični zajem podatkov, ki ga je možno preprogramirati tudi tako, da lahko izvaja vse predstavljene regulacijske algoritme.

Flexible test stands based on LabVIEW

Abstract: Research departments and laboratories, as well as industry itself need to become more flexible. They need to adopt new trends and technologies as quickly as possible. It is obvious however, that any hardware should be changed minimally in order to reduce costs and the complexities of any changes necessary. Therefore, any update has to be made mainly by software changes. This article introduces a concept of a transmission test ]stand modified into a hydraulic test ]stand, using the same equipment and changed software based on LabVIEW. LabVIEW uses G programming language with block diagrams which is, compared to a text-based program, easier to understand and update.

Comparison of LabVIEW and MATLAB for scientific research

Abstract: Nowadays engineers, researchers and scientists use advanced software suites for their work in the field of signal analysis and simulation of dynamic systems. Among the most commonly used tools are LabVIEW and MATLAB. Therefore a question arises - which one to choose? In this paper both tools are briefly presented, followed by a comparison based on practical examples. Featuring four comparisons - computation with matrices, FFT calculation, Bode plot and DC motor simulation.

Bluetooth platform for wireless measurements using industrial sensors

Abstract: The past decade has seen significant advancement in the field of mobile devices. Various smart devices such as cellular phones, tablets and PDAs have become universal tools in our everyday lives. Their versatility is based on their computing power, portability and their integration with other devices and services such as the World Wide Web. However, these smart devices have an even wider usability spectrum. They can also be used for wireless industrial measurements using existing sensors. The wireless connectivity of existing industrial sensors is achieved by equipping them with a Bluetooth module, which digitizes the data and passes it to any Bluetooth capable smart device for further processing, evaluation and logging. This paper describes the specially designed Bluetooth platform for wireless measurements all the way from the basic concept, through hardware, firmware and software implementation, to the sample tests and measurements.

High bulk modulus of ionic liquid and effects on performance of hydraulic system

Abstract: Over recent years ionic liquids have gained in importance, causing a growing number of scientists and engineers to investigate possible applications for these liquids because of their unique physical and chemical properties. Their outstanding advantages such as nonflammable liquid within a broad liquid range, high thermal, mechanical, and chemical stabilities, low solubility for gases, attractive tribological properties (lubrication), and very low compressibility, and so forth, make them more interesting for applications in mechanical engineering, offering great potential for new innovative processes, and also as a novel hydraulic fluid. This paper focuses on the outstanding compressibility properties of ionic liquid EMIM-EtSO4, a very important physical chemically property when IL is used as a hydraulic fluid. This very low compressibility (respectively, very high Bulk modulus), compared to the classical hydraulic mineral oils or the non-flammable HFDU type of hydraulic fluids, opens up new possibilities regarding its usage within hydraulic systems with increased dynamics, respectively, systemsʼ dynamic responses.
