Development of mathematical models in explicit form for design and analysis of axial flux permanent magnet synchronous machines

Abstract: This article proposes a methodology for the design of double-sided coreless axial flux permanent magnet synchronous machines, which is based on a developed model for calculating the axial component of the magnetic flux density in the middle of the distance between opposite permanent magnets, which also represents the middle of the stator. Values for different geometric parameters represent the input data for the mathematical model in explicit form. The input data are calculated by using a simplified finite element method (FEM), which means that calculations of simplified 3D models are performed. The simplified model consists of two rotor disks with surfacemounted permanent magnets and air between them, instead of stator windings. Such a simplification is possible due to similar values of permeability of the air and copper. For each simplified model of the machine the axial component of the magnetic flux density is analyzed along a line passing through the center of opposite permanent magnets and both rotor disks. Values at the middle of the distance between the opposite permanent magnets are the lowest and are therefore selected for the input data at different stator, rotor disks and permanent magnets (PM) thicknesses. Such input data enable the model to consider the nonlinearity of materials.

Reciklaža odpadnih gum in izdelava betona z gumo

Abstract: V tem diplomskem delu sta predstavljena ekološka problematika kopičenja odpadnih pnevmatik ter vplivi betona na okolje. Na podlagi tega je predstavljena predelava in ponovna uporaba odpadnih pnevmatik kot gumenega granulata. Predstavljeni so cilji in možnosti uporabe granulata gume ter izveden eksperiment, kjer se granulat gume uporabi kot delni nadomestek za pesek pri izdelavi betonske mešanice. Izdelale so se tri različne mešanice, pri katerih je bil gumeni granulat enkrat neobdelan, enkrat opran in enkrat obdelan z mikrosiliko pred pričetkom mešanja. Poleg tega pa se je vsaka različica betona mešala z dvema različnima vsebnostma granulata gume ter se primerjala z betonsko mešanico brez dodane gume. Rezultati eksperimenta so pokazali, da se z dodajanem gume znižujejo masa in tlačne trdnosti betona, vendar pri obdelanem granulatu gume tlačna trdnost betona pade manj kot pri neobdelanem granulatu.

A simplified hybrid methodology for designing coreless axial flux machines

Abstract: Axial flux permanent magnet generators (AFPMG) are used in many high torque applications, including wind generators. There are many design methodologies for AFPMG that are connected to simple design equations used for preliminary design. Analytical methods offer a fast preview of torque production of the designed machine with a certain degree of accuracy. The finite element method (FEM) is a more accurate numerical method than other methods and requires a great deal of time for simulations in the design procedure. This article presents a method for the design and analysis of an axial flux permanent magnet generator by using approximation polynomials.

Designing an electromechanical generator for energy harvesting

Abstract: Five different designs of tubular electromechanical generator for low frequency energy harvesting have been investigated in this paper. In order to design a simple and robust generator, models were constructed out of permanent magnets, steel and windings. In all five generator models, round movers were used in spherical and cylindrical form- for four models solely permanent magnets were used, and in one model, there was steel present in the mover. The movers are slid or rolled through a tube, and induce voltage in the stator winding. All windings were constructed with the same cross- -section dimensions and number of turns. To compare different models, 3D analysis with the Finite Element Method was performed, in order to determine the magnetic flux through the windings. The induced voltage was calculated using the results of the analysis. As a result of the different winding geometries, the average turn length varied for the different designs, subsequently altering resistance and inductance, which affected the generator`s power output and losses. To simulate the generator`s dynamics, an equivalent circuit model was constructed using the Simulink software and data obtained previously from a 3D electromagnetic analysis. With the Simulink model, we coupled the mechanical and electrical systems together to acquire the harvester yields.

Proportional-integral controllers performance of a grid-connected solar PV system with particle swarm optimization and Ziegler-Nichols tuning method

Abstract: This paper deals with photovoltaic (PV) power plant modeling and its integration into the medium-voltage distribution network. Apart from solar cells, a simulation model includes a boost converter, voltage-oriented controller and LCL filter. The main emphasis is given to the comparison of two optimization methods-particle swarm optimization (PSO) and the Ziegler-Nichols (ZN) tuning method, approaches that are used for the parameters of Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers determination. A PI controller is commonly used because of its performance, but it is limited in its effectiveness if there is a change in the parameters of the system. In our case, the aforementioned change is caused by switching the feeders of the distribution network from an open-loop to a closedloop arrangement. The simulation results have claimed the superiority of the PSO algorithm, while the classical ZN tuning method is acceptable in a limited area of operation.

Izboljšanje kakovosti nefinančnega poročanja z direktivo 2022/2464/eu

Abstract: V diplomskem delu sem preučila pomen trajnostnega razvoja podjetij in pomen nefinančnega poročanja. V današnjih časih glavni cilj podjetja ni zgolj ustvarjanje dobička, ampak tudi njegov trajnostni razvoj. V svojem delu sem analizirala vidike trajnostnega poslovanja, njegov razvoj v slovenskih podjetjih in smernice, ki opredeljujejo nefinančno poslovanje. Osredotočila sem se tudi na letno poročilo, podatke, ki jih mora podjetje predložiti ter sestavo in objavo poročila. Predstavila sem tudi direktivo 2014/95/EU in novosti, ki jih je vpeljala na področju nefinančnega poročanja. Evropska komisija je direktivo uvedla s prepričanjem, da morajo podjetja povečati preglednost okoljskih in socialnih informacij. V letu 2021 je Evropska komisija sprejela novo direktivo, direktivo 2022/2464/EU, ta direktiva bo od malih , srednjih ter velikih podjetij zahtevala redno objavljanje podatkov o njihovem trajnostnem poslovanju. V delu sem podrobno predstavila obe direktivi in preučila izboljšave, ki jih je implementirala nova direktiva.

Primerjava metodologij vodenja projektov scrum in slap

Abstract: V magistrski nalogi smo temeljito raziskali ter analizirali dve ključni metodologiji za vodenje projektov v IT sektorju – Scrum in Slap. Naš cilj je bil pridobiti vpogled v njune prednosti, slabosti ter učinkovitost v praksi slovenskih IT podjetij. V prvem delu naloge smo predstavili osnovne koncepte tradicionalnih in agilnih metodologij ter hibridnih pristopov vodenja projektov. Skozi zgodovinsko ozadje in značilnosti obeh metodologij smo raziskali njihovo uporabnost in vpliv na različne vidike projektnega vodenja. V nadaljevanju smo izvedli empirično raziskavo, katere namen je bil pridobiti vpogled v uporabo obeh metodologij v praksi slovenskih IT podjetij. Analizirali smo profile sodelujočih podjetij in anketirancev, preučevali najpogosteje uporabljene metodologije ter raziskali, kako se ti dve metodologiji primerjata v smislu motivacije za izbiro, trajanja uporabe ter učinkovitosti.

Izdelava računalniške igre ChronoSlime z libGDX

Abstract: Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na razvoj računalniške igre s pomočjo okvira LibGDX in sistema ECS (Entity-Component-System). Namen dela je raziskati in predstaviti uporabo sistema ECS pri ustvarjanju iger. Delo ponuja podroben opis vsakega vidika razvoja roguelike igre, vključno s komponentami, entitetami in sistemi. Poleg tega se posveti tudi praktični implementaciji tega pristopa v igri. Diplomsko delo predstavi uspešen razvoj igre Čhrono- Slime”in poudari prednosti, ki izhajajo iz uporabe sistema ECS. Skozi to delo smo spoznali pomembnost sistema ECS v kontekstu razvoja računalniških iger.

Abstract: Zbornik prispevkov predstavlja recenzirane prispevke, ki so bili predstavljeni na 9. Nacionalni konferenci o varnosti v lokalnih skupnostih v Kranju v novembru 2023. Glavna tema konference je varnost v lokalnih skupnostih, poudarek letošnje konference pa je na dobrih praksah, aktualnih temah in raziskovanju v zadnjem desetletju. Prispevki so rezultat raziskovanja v okviru programske skupine Fakultete za varnostne vede Univerze v Mariboru »Varnost v lokalnih skupnostih – primerjava ruralnih in urbanih okolij« ter sodelovanja z raziskovalci iz NIJZ, ZRC SAZU, Univerze v Novi Gorici in praktiki iz policije in lokalnih skupnosti. Prispevki se osredotočajo na različne vidike zagotavljanja varnosti in zaznave groženj v lokalnih skupnostih, vlogo sodobnih tehnologij pri zagotavljanju varnosti, problematiko drog in zasvojenosti, migracije in integracijo priseljencev, prestopništvo mladih, pravno ureditev zagotavljanja varnosti v lokalnih skupnostih, ekološko kriminaliteto, stališča prebivalcev do policije in legitimnost policije. Poleg predstavitve različnih vidikov zagotavljanja varnosti v lokalnih skupnostih prispevki predstavljajo tudi primere dobrih praks.
