Abstract: In the thesis, we showed the development of a mobile application for mobile devices that use the Android operating system. We explained the shortest route problem explained some of the various implementations and their differences. We presented the use of the GPS module for retrieving the users location and its implementation in the shortest route algorithm of choice. The application also demonstrates the communication between the device and a server for registering users and saving of the created tasks.
