1. The dynamic trio : the relationship between passion, perseverance and job satisfactionMitja Gorenak, Nataša Uršič, Igor Rajner, 2024, original scientific article Abstract: This work aims to enhance the understanding of the dynamic relationship between passion, perseverance and job satisfaction among tour guides, recognizing the interconnected nature of these elements and their impact on tourism experience. A quantitative survey was conducted among a representative sample of tour guides using two pre-existing validated questionnaires, allowing the results to be generalized to the entire population. The findings provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex dynamics within the tourism industry, particularly regarding tour guides. While passion, perseverance and job satisfaction are interrelated, their correlations exhibit specific characteristics; passion does not directly dictate job satisfaction, whereas perseverance is a significant contributor. This research emphasizes the importance of commitment, combining both passion and perseverance, and offers insights that can inform managerial decisions and human resources (HR) policies concerning tour guides in tourist agencies. 6. Responsible hospitality : inclusive, active, greenAnu Harju-Myllyaho, Salla Jutila, Tanja Lešnik Štuhec, Mihaela Škrlj Brglez, Barbara Izlakar, Barbara Pavlakovič Farrell, Maja Gorenc Šulc, Larisa Žibert, Jasna Potočnik Topler, Marko Koščak, Tony O'Rourke, Ivana Mišković, Iva Škrbić, Sonja Mlaker Kač, Irena Gorenak, Tomi Špindler, Katja Kokot, Maja Turnšek, Milica Rančić Demir, Marjetka Rangus, Biljana Božinovski, Boštjan Brumen, 2018, scientific monograph Abstract: Odgovorno gostoljublje: vključujoče, aktivno, zeleno. Knjiga razširja doseg turističnih študij z zagotavljanjem celovitih in temeljitih pregledov številnih vprašanj, povezanih z odgovornim razvojem turizma. V kontekstu povečanega povpraševanja po vseobsegajočih in poglobljenih izkušnjah prispevki, predstavljeni v drugem delu, prispevajo k razumevanju aktivnega turizma in športnega turizma. 8. Generation Z travel values in the luxury tourism industry : 1st cycle professional bachelor's studies graduate thesisEma Barišić, 2024, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Generation Z is becoming more active in today’s time. Its values are important to investigate as they will be the primary target in the market. In this thesis, we aimed to investigate Generation Z's values in the specific sector of luxury tourism and explore how they would engage with it. To begin, we defined traditional luxury, which was based on material goods, and compared it with new luxury, which is centered around experiences. Afterwards, we collected data on Generation Z from scholars and identified what events could have influenced them to develop such unique values that have not been seen before. To support our claims, we conducted a survey in the empirical part of the thesis. An in-depth analysis was done to examine whether these values hold true or should be reconsidered. 9. Luksuzni turizem nekoč in danes : percepcija prebivalcev Zagreba o razvoju luksuznega turizmaLorena Vinčić, 2024, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Zagreb kot glavno mesto Hrvaške predstavlja velik potencial za razvoj turistične ponudbe. Diplomsko delo proučuje razvoj in percepcijo luksuznega turizma skozi čas, s posebnim poudarkom na percepciji prebivalcev mesta Zagreb. Keywords: luksuzni turizem, turistični trendi, percepcija luksuznega turizma, Zagreb. Published in DKUM: 07.01.2025; Views: 0; Downloads: 54
