Design and development of sustainable capsule collection : magistrsko deloLucie Görlichová, 2023, master's thesis Abstract: The current fast fashion system has a negative impact on the environment, exploits natural resources, and violates workers' rights. The aim of this master's thesis is to design and develop a sustainable capsule collection of versatile and timeless garments that can be worn in different ways over a long period of time. The thesis includes theoretical and practical research on sustainability, sustainable materials, collection development and sustainable design methods. Final collection is made of natural and eco-friendly materials and implements various sustainable approaches. The concept of the collection proves that garments can be made in harmony with nature and still be modern and fashionable.

2. Pants for a sitting positionLucie Görlichová, 2015, undergraduate thesis Abstract: People with limited limbs movement have problems with finding suitable clothing for them. Especially the wheelchair users, since they are spending all day in a sitting position. Therefore, they need clothing, which is comfortable, functional and aesthetic at the same time. The main aim of this diploma thesis was to develop a basic pattern design of the women’s pants that are specially designed to provide comfort when sitting all day in a wheelchair. The body dimension was measured for the three tested persons needed for construction of the women's pants basic pattern design. The pants pattern design was constructed for a standing and a sitting position. A comparison and fit analysis of pants for a standing and sitting position was carried out and procedure for construction of the made-to measure women’s pants basic pattern design for a sitting position was proposed.
