Metallisation of textiles and protection of conductive layers: An overview of application techniques

Abstract: The rapid growth in wearable technology has recently stimulated the development of conductive textiles for broad application purposes, i.e., wearable electronics, heat generators, sensors, electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding, optoelectronic and photonics. Textile material, which was always considered just as the interface between the wearer and the environment, now plays a more active role in different sectors, such as sport, healthcare, security, entertainment, military, and technical sectors, etc. This expansion in applied development of e-textiles is governed by a vast amount of research work conducted by increasingly interdisciplinary teams and presented systematic review highlights and assesses, in a comprehensive manner, recent research in the field of conductive textiles and their potential application for wearable electronics (so called e-textiles), as well as development of advanced application techniques to obtain conductivity, with emphasis on metal-containing coatings. Furthermore, an overview of protective compounds was provided, which are suitable for the protection of metallized textile surfaces against corrosion, mechanical forces, abrasion, and other external factors, influencing negatively on the adhesion and durability of the conductive layers during textiles’ lifetime (wear and care). The challenges, drawbacks and further opportunities in these fields are also discussed critically.

Non-equilibrium plasma methods for tailoring surface properties of polyvinylidene fluoride : review and challenges

Abstract: Modification and functionalization of polymer surface properties is desired in numerous applications, and a standard technique is a treatment with non-equilibrium gaseous plasma. Fluorinated polymers exhibit specific properties and are regarded as difficult to functionalize with polar functional groups. Plasma methods for functionalization of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) are reviewed and different mechanisms involved in the surface modification are presented and explained by the interaction of various reactive species and far ultraviolet radiation. Most authors used argon plasma but reported various results. The discrepancy between the reported results is explained by peculiarities of the experimental systems and illustrated by three mechanisms. More versatile reaction mechanisms were reported by authors who used oxygen plasma for surface modification of PVDF, while plasma sustained in other gases was rarely used. The results reported by various authors are analyzed, and correlations are drawn where feasible. The processing parameters reported by different authors were the gas pressure and purity, the discharge configuration and power, while the surface finish was predominantly determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and static water contact angle (WCA). A reasonably good correlation was found between the surface wettability as probed by WCA and the oxygen concentration as probed by XPS, but there is hardly any correlation between the discharge parameters and the wettability.

E-learning materials for the Slovene language in elementary schools (6th-9th grade)

Abstract: The theoretical part of the paper presents the project Slovenščina na dlani (lovene in e al o or and) which is intended for the establishment of an interactive learning environment for the Slovene language (as mother tongue) in elementary and secondary schools. In this paper we limit the research to elementary school. In the empirical section, we focus on freely available e-learning materials for the Slovene language from the 6th to the 9th grade of elementary school and present the results of an analysis of 10,118 tasks according to their types. The findings indicate an unbalanced representation of different types of tasks, with short answer types in the majority, the task type that is least popular among students. By introducing the most advanced linguistic technology into learning processes, we try to overcome the limitations of existing e-resources for learning the Slovene language.

Prevajanje izrazov nominalnega naslavljanja glede na spol, starost in družbeni status v filmih Hue and cry in Indiscreet

Abstract: Prispevek je študija primera, v kateri so predstavljeni izrazi nominalnega naslavljanja pri prevajanju iz angleškega jezika v slovenskega. Namen raziskave je bil s pomočjo jezikovne analize podnapisov filmov ugotoviti, kakšen in kolikšen vpliv imajo sociolingvistični dejavniki (za analizo so bili izbrani spol, starost, družbeni status) na prevajanje izrazov nominalnega naslavljanja. Gradivo so predstavljali angleški izvirni govor dveh izbranih filmov, tj. Hue and Cry in Indiscreet, in slovenski podnapisi obeh filmov.

Socialna omrežja kot marketinško orodje za košarkarske klube

Abstract: Družbena omrežja so postala ključno orodje v športnem marketingu, saj omogočajo neposredno komunikacijo z navijači, gradnjo prepoznavnosti in spodbujanje prodaje. Košarkarski klubi se vse bolj zavedajo pomena digitalne prepoznavnosti in uporabljajo različne strategije za optimizacijo svoje komunikacije. Ta naloga preučuje vlogo družbenih omrežij v marketingu košarkarskih klubov ter analizira njihove učinke na povezovanje z občinstvom in poslovni uspeh. S pomočjo analize obstoječih praks in primerov iz košarkarskega okolja naloga razkriva, kako učinkovite strategije na družbenih omrežjih prispevajo k večji angažiranosti navijačev ter boljšemu trženju klubskih vsebin. Prav tako izpostavlja izzive, s katerimi se klubi soočajo pri upravljanju digitalnih platform, in ponujajo smernice za izboljšanje njihovi prisotnosti na spletu. Rezultati raziskave bodo lahko služili kot podlaga za nadaljnje izboljšave in razvoj digitalnih marketinških strategij v športu. Raziskava potrjuje, da so družbena omrežja ključna za prepoznavnost in marketing košarkarskih klubov. Uspeh temelji na doslednih objavah, vizualno privlačnih vsebinah in aktivni komunikaciji. Klubi, ki vlagajo v digitalni marketing, dosegajo boljše rezultate, a se soočajo z izzivi, kot sta pomanjkanje sredstev in nepoznavanje algoritmov. Študija ponuja smernice za izboljšanje digitalnih strategij. Študija potrjuje, da prilagoditev strategij na podlagi analitike ter uporaba vplivnežev in partnerskih kampanj bistveno prispevata k večji prepoznavnosti in vključenosti občinstva, hkrati pa ponuja smernice za optimizacijo digitalnega marketinga v košarki.

Sponzoriranje športne organizacije

Abstract: Diplomsko delo obravnava optimizacijo sponzorskih strategij in sodelovanja med košarkarskim klubom Triglav Kranj in sponzorji. Sodelovanje med športno organizacijo in sponzorjem je uspešno, kadar imajo športne organizacije jasno opredeljene in merljive cilje, vzpostavijo učinkovito in transparentno komunikacijo ter delijo vrednote s sponzorji. Sponzorji, ki dajejo poudarek na merjenje učinkov sponzorstva, izražajo višjo stopnjo zadovoljstva in so bolj naklonjeni k dolgoročnemu partnerstvu. Profesionalen pristop športnih organizacij, ki vključuje dobro strukturiran strateški načrt in natančno zastavljene cilje, bistveno pripomore k večji finančni podpori s strani sponzorjev ter k uspešnemu pridobivanju novih partnerstev. S pomočjo narejenega postopkovnika bo Košarkarski klub Triglav Kranj lažje prišel do strategije za uspešno pridobivanje novih sponzorstev.

New approach for adsorptive removal of the antibiotic ciprofloxacin: carboxymethyl-dextran-functionalised magnetic iron oxide nanomaterials

Abstract: Antibiotic residues in environmental media pose a significant health, social and economic problem and require effective removal strategies. This study presents a novel approach for the removal of the antibiotic ciprofloxacin from water sources using magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MNPs) synthesised by co-precipitation, and subsequently functionalised with the polysaccharide carboxymethyl-dextran (CMD). The prepared nanoadsorbent was characterised extensively by various physicochemical analyses, to evaluate its morphology, crystal structure, surface chemistry, electrokinetic properties, thermogravimetric properties and magnetic features. These analyses confirmed the successful functionalisation of the MNPs with CMD highlighting its potential for effective adsorption applications. The stability of CMD coating on MNPs was evaluated in terms of total carbon content, an important, yet often overlooked factor. The adsorption performance of MNPs@CMD for ciprofloxacin was investigated systematically by studying the effects of adsorbent dosage, pH, initial ciprofloxacin concentration, ionic strength, adsorption time and kinetics, temperature, and reusability. Under optimal conditions, nanoadsorbent exhibited a satisfactory maximum adsorption capacity of 14.71 mg/g, and maintained a removal eff iciency of 79 % after four cycles, with minimal desorption of CMD layer on the MNPs. These findings demonstrate the potential of this magnetic polysaccharide nanoadsorbent for effective removal of ciprofloxacin from aqueous environments, enabling magnetic recovery and reuse.

Generativna umetna inteligenca v izobraževanju : Analiza stanja v primarnem, sekundarnem in terciarnem izobraževanju

Abstract: Monografija predstavlja prvo celovito in sistematično analizo stanja uporabe generativne umetne inteligence (GEN-UI) v izobraževanju v Sloveniji. Raziskava, strukturirana skozi enajst tematskih področij, zajema različne deležnike vzgojno-izobraževalnega sistema na primarni, sekundarni in terciarni ravni. Vsebina ponuja poglobljen vpogled v vrste, pogostost in namene uporabe GEN-UI v osnovnih, srednjih šolah ter fakultetah. Obravnavani so izzivi, s katerimi se srečujejo deležniki pri uporabi GEN-UI, etična vprašanja ter pedagoške priložnosti, ki jih omogočajo orodja GEN-UI. Analizirane so tudi potrebe po usposabljanju, zaznane tehnične omejitve ter predlogi za optimizacijo uporabe GEN-UI v pedagoških procesih. Poseben poudarek je namenjen percepciji vpliva GEN-UI na različne vidike vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela, vključno z organizacijsko podporo, zaznanimi koristmi, uporabniško izkušnjo ter doživljanjem procesov učenja, poučevanja in vodenja ob uporabi GEN-UI. Monografija predstavlja pomemben znanstveni in strokovni doprinos k področju edukacijskih ved ter nudi dragocene usmeritve za oblikovanje strateških politik in odločitev na področju vzgoje in izobraževanja v prihodnosti.

Usmerjanje trajnostnega razvoja podjetja

Abstract: Publikacija Usmerjanje trajnostnega razvoja podjetja obravnava pomen trajnostnega razvoja kot ključnega elementa sodobnega poslovanja. Predstavlja 17 ciljev trajnostnega razvoja (SDGs) in poudarja njihovo implementacijo v poslovne modele podjetij za krepitev konkurenčnosti, odpornosti in dolgoročne uspešnosti. Raziskuje inovativne poslovne modele, vpliv trajnostne zakonodaje ter vključevanje družbene odgovornosti in raznolikosti v strategije podjetij. Poseben poudarek namenja trajnostni (pre)usmeritvi družinskih podjetij in vlogi neprofitnih organizacij. Publikacija ponuja teoretične temelje, analize najboljših praks in konkretne primere trajnostnega upravljanja ter inovacij. Cilj je ozaveščanje o pomenu trajnostnega razvoja, spodbujanje novih pristopov v poslovanju ter krepitev sodelovanja med podjetji, akademsko skupnostjo in družbo. S tem prispeva k ustvarjanju trajnostne prihodnosti in dolgoročnemu uspehu podjetij v spreminjajočem se globalnem okolju.

Podjetništvo ob preboju digitalizacije in umetne inteligence : GEM Slovenija 2024

Abstract: Raziskava GEM ponuja poglobljeno analizo različnih družbenih, kulturnih, političnih in ekonomskih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na podjetniško okolje in podjetniško aktivnost, ter predstavlja celovit okvir za razumevanje nacionalnih podjetniških razmer. Ti dejavniki imajo ključno vlogo pri oblikovanju podjetniških ambicij posameznikov in uspešnosti ustanavljanja ter delovanja podjetij. Raziskava s tem zagotavlja neprimerljiv vpogled v nacionalno podjetništvo in njegove značilnosti ter presega informacije, ki so na voljo v drugih statističnih virih. Raziskava namreč vključuje tudi odnos posameznikov in družbe do podjetništva ter želje in usposobljenost ljudi za podjetništvo, v vseh fazah podjetniškega procesa. S proučevanjem teh vidikov v različnih državah, GEM ugotavlja ključna gonila in ovire za podjetništvo, kar omogoča razvoj uspešnega podpornega ekosistema. Tokratna izdaja se med drugim osredotoča na digitalizacijo in umetno inteligenco ter njun vpliv na podjetništvo. Poudarek je na izzivih in priložnostih, ki jih prinašata digitalizacija in UI, ter na tem, kako lahko podjetja te trende izkoristijo za rast in razvoj.
