Opis: | Fundamental human right, is the right to liberty and security. Fundamental right of a state is a right to sovereignty and decide, according to their conscience. All this, while reading the available literature on the existence of a secret network of Gladio, slowly fade and disappear completely. It is well known that the Soviet Union imposing its political will to the Eastern Bloc countries, and if it was necessary, with the use of force achieve their objectives. In Western Europe, countries would apply their democratic principles and the right to their own national decisions. We will try to clarify the problem of a secret Gladio organization in terms of democracy, national sovereignty, people's rights to safety and freedom, as well as its conduct complained in question in all aspects. The story of Gladio, is primarily the story of American and British fears, of communist domination in Western Europe, which lasted nearly half a century, and which had their most extreme approaches in order to keep government of a right-wing political parties. These is been done through the North Atlantic Alliance, which should take care of peace and security in all member states. Organizations involved in the network, strongly deny the existence of Gladio, but more and more testimonies and evidence suggests, that there was a secret army, and to do things, that are sometimes beyond our imagination. That is why, it is likely to be reconsider some historical facts, and find the causes for them somewhere else. Much of the operation Gladio, has not been explained yet, and every man, who will take the hunt for answers, is waiting the thorny path through the maze of laws and national interests of individual countries, which have been involved in all this. For now, it is very well known, what were Gladio members doing, but in the fog shrouded are the facts , what were the orders of their supervisors and from where all these orders came. There is an expression by John Prados: »When it comes to the Gladio network, the information highway at all levels, quickly turns into a footpath gravel.« (Ganser, 2006: 10) |
